Favorite Vegetable: I love to chop up a lot of mustard and cook it with just a little bit of oil in the pan. I also love making soup with peppers.
Background: I started farming when I was six years old with my family. I remember grinding a lot of corn. My mom died when I was really young, so I had to help the family with farming.
What Growing Together Means To Me: The food I grow at the garden helps me maintain good health, I'm earning extra income, and I have produce at home that's fresh! I have 4 houses of sons and daughters, and no one has to buy greens or veggies. We're saving a lot of money on groceries!

Background: I am the eldest member of my family. Growing up with nine siblings, I had to work hard to take care of them. We had many horses and my dad took care of the farm while I stayed home taking care of the house and siblings. I started farming when I got married, and it was really hard work.
Favorite Vegetable: I love to eat stir fried cauliflower and potatoes or make a soup and add a lot of greens!
What Growing Together Means To Me: When we grow, we get to eat very fresh vegetables you can’t get from the grocery store. We also can make some money and get the chance to meet with many friends and get connected with each other.
