Native Plant and Pollinator Workshop

  • The Community Farm at Mill Ridge 12944 Old Hickory Blvd Nashville, TN, 37013 United States (map)

In this workshop hosted at The Community Farm at Mill Ridge, you will learn why planting native plants and attracting pollinators are beneficial to your vegetable garden. You will learn how to support insect life during the three blooming seasons and why that is important for a healthy ecosystem. We will explore one of Mill Ridge’s pollinator beds to observe and identify pollinators in action. You will leave this workshop knowing the benefits of native plants and blooms by season, and be able to identify some native pollinator species!

The workshop is open to the public. Suggested donation of $10 although this is not required.
